Nope. I learned today that Japan does not celebrate the lunar new year – at least not anymore and not officially. I can’t say why though. All that Wikipedia (dear, dear Wikipedia) offers is that the Meiji government changed the official New Year from the lunar to the Gregorian one in 1873. Is is just the Meiji government’s attempt to enter the world stage?

If anyone has an answer, lemme know! And by the way 新年快乐！

Well, that is a Danish Dough Whisk. And that is what I learned about today.

It seems like a useful enough kitchen tool. I may have to get one for my mom (note to self: future present right here).

me & goji … gone. How saddening.

I’ve ordered the customized cereal from them before. In fact I’ve ordered two .. one was delicious and the other not so much — but that was really because of what I chose to put in it.

This really is unfortunate.

Yup, that’s my generation (or is it just the guys?).

I dread it so much.

In an effort to mature and improve myself, I’ve started reading ’7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens.’ I received this book as a gift years ago. I have never even attempted to read that book till now, and now, I wish I had read it earlier.

This book for teens is written by Sean Covey, who is the son of the man who wrote 7 Habits of Highly Effective People – another great seller. I haven’t gotten myself to read the adult version, but after the teenage version, I will definitely read the adult version.

I’ll let you know how I plan on applying these habits to my life.
